It’s time to feel that free again.
Anxiety Therapy for Teens and Adults in Raleigh, North Carolina
Tame the Beast Called Anxiety

There was a time when you felt free.
You ran around with friends, sang songs, drew pictures.
The flowers were worth noticing. So was the sunset.
Bedtime meant collapsing, exhausted, and sleeping like a rock. Then your mind got crowded with worries and what-ifs you couldn’t turn off.
And it’s been a LONG time since you slept like that.

Your to-do list feels like a pack of wild animals rushing at you when you look at it.
Loud noises make you want to jump out of your skin. A baby crying on a plane is like torture.
And if you have to speak in front of people, your face flushes and your voice quivers. You’d do anything to avoid it. But the job requires it… or the grade does.
Anxiety turns life into a dull, gray, dangerous minefield to pick your way across.
A lot of your anxiety runs on old emotional experiences that were never resolved.
Something happens today, and all of that old material comes right back up with it. That’s why a small thing can knock you sideways for the rest of the day.
I work with a method called Emotional Transformation Therapy, or ETT. It uses color and light to help your brain reach those old emotions… and process them through.

We’ll work through the old emotional load systematically, week by week. Here’s what clients tell me starts to change.
The room anxiety was taking up becomes room for your actual life.
We define the problem you want solved and set clear, measurable goals. Then we walk through the events and relationships that shaped how you experience life today.
We won’t dwell here long.
We start with what’s happening now, which usually leads back to the older emotions underneath. Then we use color and light to help your brain process them through.
We work until you say we’re done.
Anxiety leaves little room to wonder what you’re actually for. As it lessens, people start asking bigger questions about their future and their calling.
And my door stays open.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina, and I’ve trained repeatedly with ETT’s founder in Texas.
Goals get set in plain, measurable terms at the start, so you can see your progress instead of guessing at it.
Christian faith gets woven into the work naturally for clients who want it, and left out entirely for those who don’t.
You’ll work with color and light while we focus on what you’re feeling. Your brain sets its own pace, so it takes on what it can handle and slows down when it needs to.
Talking about a problem and resolving it are two different things. ETT works below the level of conversation, which is why it reaches material that talking has circled for YEARS.
In my clinical experience, ETT gets there in significantly fewer sessions than talk therapy. What that looks like for you depends on how much old material is underneath, and we’ll set goals early so you can measure it.
Yes. Tests, licensing exams, presentations, auditions, competition. I see adults and teens 14 and up, so if there’s a date on the calendar you’re dreading, bring me that.
